
Some hikes are nice easy rambles along the creek, maybe a waterfall to check out or a little log to step over. That’s not these hikes. These hikes are Type 2 Fun, selected for their ability to activate the posterior chain. You could take these hikes easy, but we don’t. We keep these in the rotation to keep in shape, and remind ourselves how out of shape we still are. That said, none are particularly dangerous, there are no real technical sections, or any special equipment required. If you find you’re out of breath, take a break – the air is great out here.
